Many thanks for yet another thought-provoking master post, Bilawal, I'm upgrading to paid today! When you say 'The only piece that doesn’t exist for civilians yet is the fusion layer -- the thing that pulls it all into one picture. That’s what we’re building', do you mean that you (and a team?) are building a commercial product for the tech-challenged?

Thanks! And yes, that’s exactly right - building a god’s eye view for everyone, and a more advanced version where you can bring your own data to the party.

Just found your YouTube. Impressive! Please do consider open source.

thats some pretty cool stuff, we launched this thing https://ottawacitizen.com/news/national/defence-watch/radarsat-constellation-to-track-ships-provide-surveillance-over-arctic-and-other-regions . https://www.eoportal.org/satellite-missions/rcm cool launch video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gszJYTNtzLo 3 SAR satellites that traverse the earth the lead scientist for that https://www.iceye.com/blog/dr-alan-thompson-vice-president-spacecraft-engineering-shares-his-experience-and-thoughts-on-sar-satellite-missions went to https://www.iceye.com/newsroom/press-releases/advancing-sovereign-intelligence-from-space-iceye-launches-six-new-satellites-aboard-transporter-16

Government keeps cutting science so our SAR satellite science is shrinking which is shameful https://www.reddit.com/r/CanadaPublicServants/comments/1r26l27/nrccnrc_laying_off_hundreds_of_talented_scientists/ other countries will probably pick up the talent though.... up next though https://www.asc-csa.gc.ca/eng/news/articles/2023/2023-10-18-radarsat-plus-over-1-billion-dollars-for-the-future-satellite-earth-observation.asp and https://uwaterloo.ca/institute-for-quantum-computing/research/qeyssathttps://spaceq.ca/the-canadian-space-agency-is-soliciting-interest-in-a-new-quantum-technology-initiative/ which could potentially change encryption key schemes. ref https://cdnsciencepub.com/doi/10.1139/cjp-2023-0190

Be cool to see threat prediction models using federated learning models and datamesh technologies https://arxiv.org/abs/2202.07757 . https://www.datamesh-architecture.com/ . https://arxiv.org/html/2403.17878v2 decentralize . https://medium.com/@mherber2/cognitive-mesh-intelligence-2880e258169a . https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/neural-mesh-networks-unleashing-power-decentralized-ai-ripla-pgcert-parme/

plus mesh & swarms https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/autonomous-satellite-swarm-systems-revolutionizing-andre-9rawe/ and space cloud too https://www.tomshardware.com/tech-industry/artificial-intelligence/self-assembling-data-centers-in-space-are-becoming-reality-as-rendezvous-robotics-partners-with-starcloud-elon-musk-chimes-in-that-spacex-will-be-doing-this why send all that data down to earth when some of it can be processed in space then just send down the relevant fragments in the AOI/ROI.

Keep the data at the source where it belongs for every transformation and transfer adds risk to data corruption, spoofing, loss etc.. where is that truthful and clean data?

ML/AI models in specialized data centers and feeds from every sort of source. Biological threats, chemical threats and spills, warfare, rogue dictators and civil wars, unrest, disasters, weather events, etc... etc... threat prediction models.

We humans from day one or any creature on this planet really we are programmed with threat prediction models. Will that thing attack me or eat me....

Useful and useable AI.

To what probability can we determine the threats in an AOI/ROI? given the knowns and unknowns.

From a police office in an unknown area. To a person visiting a new place or country. To a firefighter going into a burning facility. To outbreaks with viruses. To threats in the battlefield.

To forest fire prediction models based on environmental variables and forest burn rate. To flood prediction models. Ice movement, building movement (LiDAR and SAR), tornados and hurricanes etc... so many threats to predict. Life is all risks and probabilities. Threats.

Threat prediction and probability models. Complex yes. But, so valuable on a common operating picture view in an AOI/ROI. As data streams are fused with soil/sea/sky/space sensors. And, as news feeds are fused with geo temporal spatial events. Along with any other social media feeds.

Powerful that would be.

Fusing cell phone data in an AOI/ROI as well. https://www.fcc.gov/calea Yah can't hide they see it all https://www.whitehouse.gov/articles/2025/09/president-trump-tech-leaders-unite-american-ai-dominance/ he spilled the beans https://www.wired.com/2014/08/edward-snowden/ Yet, I used to work for this outfit https://www.vice.com/en/article/the-rcmp-surveilled-thousands-of-innocent-canadians-for-a-decade/ the person running that lets just say honesty is not his best policy. And this too, as they laughed we have the keys https://www.zdnet.com/article/canadian-police-obtained-blackberry-master-encryption-key/ that was the end of blackberry though https://www.zdnet.com/article/blackberry-a-postmortem-of-the-former-smartphone-king/ I actually work with an RF engineer that worked there... It was king for its time, not anymore so much competition.

Anyhow, so many avenues for data feeds now and so much data to fuse and aggregate now to come up with great threat prediction models useful and useable enough to be used in many fields.... bio, chemical, warfare, policing, public etc...

I long for the day when we don't need rogue politicians anymore though https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/path-fully-autonomous-economies-andre-drpde/ and auditing too https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/using-ai-machine-learning-algorithms-continuous-rameez-ali/

now, the next question is - what do you do when you find a threat? that's another story for another day. If you can't defend yourself you might be up shts creek without a paddle.
