BIlawal, what you have done with this series is not just create a beast of a machine, but shown the rest of the world what is able to be done in real time now, if we are allowed to dream and create with NO GATEKEEPERS! The future is here whether they like it or not!
Very nice. I’m excited to see your app. I built http://watchwar.live as I’m here in Dubai and I wanted to build this for myself so I could easily curate and translate news so I could understand it. Then I kept adding features including my own newscaster!
I would love to get involved with this project. I recently started vibe-coding a similar platform that I’m calling GEOSINT (Geospatial Open Source Intelligence).
I’m especially curious about how you were able to obtain access to some of the APIs and data feeds you’re using. I’ve been attempting something similar and have run into a recurring issue where much of the “public” data is actually gated behind paywalls or restrictive access tiers.
Is that one of the reasons the project hasn’t been publicly released yet? I’d really appreciate any insight into how you approached the data access side of things.
"Which raises an uncomfortable question: how much of this is transparency, and how much of it is a genuine security risk?"
Since the intelligence communities already know all this, what you're asking is whether the PUBLIC has a "right to know" what their governments are doing in their name.
The only other people who might be interested in this level of data would be non-state actors, i.e. terrorists. But they are also already engaged in "security risk" behavior. They might be interested in seeing an air strike coming, but if they have any brains, they already expect one and have taken steps to survive it. Since half of them are state-sponsored anyway, most of them already get warnings if a party hostile to the sponsoring state is planning an operation against them.
So I would argue the "right to know" outweighs by a large margin any nonsense about "security risk." Especially when things like the Iran war are being done for reasons the average citizen has ZERO CLUE about and the government has a vested interest in insuring that remains the case.

He gets it right and uses papers direct from government think tanks to prove it.
Knowing the real geopolitical reasons behind things is far more important than using OSINT to watch it in real time. This is a complaint I've had about OSINT people for some time now. They're so proud of seeing things in real time, but have zero clue about WHY those things are happening. Worse, many of them think they're being "patriotic" by revealing details about events caused by other counries - but not events caused by their own country.
All that said, nice work on building the tool. Do an article on exactly how you did it.
Essentially “Palantir lite”. OSINT, ELINT, HUMINT SIGINT tool with AI. Based on my knowledge of the subjects. I want it to be an affordable option for LE but also for civilians. 2+ years of development. There're hardware elements as well.
Cool. I'm only using free satellite imagery now. It can get expensive otherwise. I've been training my system on image recognition and multimodal intelligence in general (I dabble in radio). Im working to make it reliable first. Russians are already using ATAK so I don't want to give the enemy any tools which is why I haven't released anything yet.
Thats kinda what I was looking to do and makes total sense. I have built a stable oscillator swarm globally and using AI to study oscillator behaviour. Would appreciate a hint on the satelite sources. I agree i was quoted 10k per annum for map data.
I feel like the only thing separating this from a scifi tech is a swarm of like thousands of mini agents constantly sweeping current media to gather and synthesise all of the data in those like the missile attack locations
I don’t ever recall Google asking me or anyone I know if it was ok to map my house or my street or my community?
Directly ~ nope
They didn’t just like they didn’t really bother to let us know what they were and still are doing with data they harvested and sold onto the highest bidders
Unless of course I have access to an microscope in order to read the ‘ small print ‘ in the t&c’s
How did they get away with all of the above ?
Ah they back whoever is in the WH at any particular time just like those creeps backing the orange thug at the moment
And those folks are in charge of the AI fantasy they sell ( being the right word ) us
Ok, but what is the actual added value here? Did you gain any new insights into the conflict, or just obtained a pretty picture of how airspaces got shot down?
wonder if we could correlate animal, plants , fungi to war activity ? use strike time as base line, then go back. T 0, T -5, T -30, T-12 ...2004 tsunami some wild life fled flood days in advance ...

Our boy Bilawal Sidhu shows how exactly he achieved this over the weekend.
For truth is not only stranger than fiction but also effectively free, if you know where to look for it.

Let’s connect.
BRO this is beautiful
Incredible stuff. I worry that (some) hedge funds will be able to exploit all this, a lot. Some may be connected to a government-cartel.
I was an intelligence officer for over 20 years and was a pioneer in OSINT. YOU ARE MY HERO!

Anything stopping the ‘bad guys’ doing this. What did Sun Tzu say on knowing your opponent’s plans. Seems that ai can change the world. Scary.
This is absolutely insane 👍
We have synergy. I've built something similar, but bigger. Reach out if you're interested.
What have you built?

Would like to have a chat, looking to get the satelite info.
